Nairobi, Kenya, September 1, 2026 — Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (KWAL) has announced that its national consumer promotion, “Form Imejipa Na County,” has surpassed 300,000 winners and distributed more than Sh30 million in prizes since its launch in June.
The milestone comes as the campaign awards its latest Sh1 million grand-prize winner, with Nairobi resident Lilian Akoth becoming the latest recipient of the monthly cash prize.
Akoth won after purchasing a bottle of County Brandy, scratching the label panel to reveal her entry code and submitting it through the toll-free USSD code 4599#.
“Form Imejipa Na County is the first National Consumer Promotion KWAL has run for this brand and the numbers tell their own story,” said Ivy Kiarie, Brand Manager, Brown Spirits at KWAL.
“Over 300,000 Kenyans have won something through this campaign. That scale reflects how deeply County resonates with its consumers,” she added.
Akoth was joined during the prize collection by laptop winners Edwin Mulongo, Friday Mutua, Martha Guhe, Quinter Adhiambo, Nicholas Ndunda and Kennedy Ochieng.
Other winners included pool table recipient Mary Mwangi, while Joseph Munah, James Mwangi, Eric Juma, Tabitha Akoth and Brian Okila won mobile phones.
Launched in June, the “Form Imejipa Na County” campaign seeks to celebrate the resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of County’s core consumer market, which KWAL describes as an important part of Kenya’s economic engine.
The promotion has been rolled out nationwide through county-level activations, with consumers in different parts of the country participating and winning prizes.
According to KWAL, winners have emerged from Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret and other parts of the country, reflecting the national reach of the campaign.
Participants stand a chance to win a Sh1 million cash prize through a monthly grand draw, alongside pool tables, mobile phones, laptops and content creator kits.
Weekly draws offer motorbikes, shopping vouchers and instant cash rewards of up to Sh10,000, while daily airtime prizes are available through scratch-and-win opportunities on participating bottles.
Consumers aged 18 and above can participate by purchasing either a 750ml or 250ml bottle of County Brandy, scratching the label panel to reveal an entry code and submitting it by dialling 4599# on their mobile phones.
KWAL said participation is subject to limits per consumer as part of measures aimed at encouraging responsible drinking.
County is part of KWAL’s wider portfolio, which includes Heineken, Windhoek, Desperados, Kingfisher, Hunter’s Dry Cider, Hunter’s Gold Cider, Savanna Dry, Savanna Angry Lemon, Kibao Vodka, Kibao Tropical Breeze, Kibao Pineapple Rush, Kibao Gin, Caribia Flavoured Gin, County Kulture, Hunter’s Choice Whiskey, Amarula, Viceroy, Nederburg Wines, Durbanville Hills Wines, 4th Street Wines, J.C. le Roux, Caprice Wines and Casa Buena Wines.
