As Managing Director of Wilstone Homes, Kinyanjui has overseen the developer’s expansion from a relatively young property company into a developer with a growing portfolio of completed residential estates and new projects under construction.
Wilstone Homes says it has completed more than 20 housing developments, with its projects spread across areas including Joska, Kamulu and the Kenyatta Road corridor. The company’s completed portfolio includes Willstone Estate, Grandview Estate, Ace Park 1 and 2, Brookview 1 and 2, Ridgeview Estate, Ridgefront Gardens, Avana 1 and 2, White Park 1, several Windsor developments and Batian Estate.
The scale of the portfolio has placed Kinyanjui among a new generation of Kenyan property entrepreneurs seeking to respond to the changing housing needs of the middle class.
A defining feature of Kinyanjui’s approach has been the decision to develop outside Nairobi’s traditional residential neighbourhoods.
The company has concentrated on emerging corridors where infrastructure development and population growth are creating new demand for housing.
Among its notable developments is Ridgefront Gardens along Kenyatta Road, a project comprising a mix of bungalows and mansions. Wilstone describes the development as one of its flagship estates, reflecting its strategy of creating gated communities in rapidly developing satellite towns.
The Ace Park and Brookview estates have similarly contributed to the company’s presence in commuter areas, offering housing options aimed at families and professionals seeking alternatives to the high cost of property within Nairobi.
The White Park developments, meanwhile, have expanded the company’s footprint along the Kangundo Road corridor, an area that has witnessed increasing residential development as Nairobi continues to spread into neighbouring counties.
Perhaps the most ambitious project associated with Kinyanjui’s current leadership is Manna Residence in Ruiru.
The development forms part of Wilstone’s ongoing portfolio alongside Manna Annex, Manna Residence Commercial Centre, White Park 2 and Aberdare 1.
Manna Residence is particularly significant because of its scale and mixed-use character, incorporating residential and commercial components. The company has described it as its largest single housing development to date.
Kinyanjui has also taken a hands-on approach to the project, personally engaging prospective homeowners and investors during site clinics and project visits.
In June 2026, Wilstone Homes marked another milestone when it handed over Elgon and Lenana estates, its 20th and 21st housing developments, to 71 homeowners along the Kenyatta Road corridor.
The handover underscored an important aspect of Kinyanjui’s strategy — moving projects from the drawing board to completed homes and occupied communities.
His leadership has also coincided with Wilstone’s expansion into different forms of property ownership, including serviced plots, alongside its traditional housing developments.
With Kenya facing sustained demand for decent and affordable housing, developers are increasingly being called upon to provide homes that combine location, design, infrastructure and affordability.
