Mabatini Member of County Assembly (MCA) Wilfred Odalo has taken an early lead in the Mathare parliamentary race, according to a new poll by Intouch Polls Kenya.

Odalo commands 39 per cent support, placing him well ahead of Mohammed Ali and incumbent Mathare MP Anthony Oluoch, who are both tied at 12 per cent.

The poll signals growing momentum for Odalo as he positions himself to challenge for the Mathare parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election.

Odalo has welcomed the findings, saying the numbers reflect his growing popularity and track record of development and community engagement.

“I have just been informed that Intouch firm released a poll placing me ahead of other aspirants. I can confirm to you that I am on the ground asking for votes and supporting lives out there, so it is actually accurate. Our stand is that we shall continue helping our people better their lives,” he said.
