The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has made progress towards the completion of the upgrading of Masalani Town roads to bitumen standards in Ijara Constituency, Garissa County, in a move expected to improve transport and trade in the area.
The project is part of efforts to transform urban infrastructure in North Eastern Kenya, where improved roads are critical to connecting communities, businesses and public services.
Masalani, located along the Tana River, serves as an important urban centre in the region.
