Glam Hotel has introduced a stylish new addition to Nairobi’s luxury dining and nightlife scene with the grand opening of its rooftop restaurant and bar in Westlands.
Perched on the 10th floor along General Mathenge Road, the elegant venue was officially launched on Friday night in a vibrant event that drew business leaders, influencers, and hospitality enthusiasts. Guests were treated to live music, DJ sets, and captivating performances by dancers and drummers — setting the tone for an evening of celebration under the city lights.
“This rooftop is more than just a venue it’s an experience,” said Ashish Sharma, CEO of Thrive Hospitality, the group behind Glam Hotel. “We wanted to create a space that mirrors Nairobi’s spirit dynamic, diverse, and full of life.”
Throughout the evening, attendees enjoyed a selection of continental dishes and signature cocktails while taking in panoramic views of Nairobi’s skyline. According to organizers, the rooftop is designed to accommodate up to 200 guests, making it ideal for sundowners, private events, and relaxed dining.
Sanjay Shah, one of the hotel’s directors, noted that the vision behind the rooftop was to blend fine dining with the city’s vibrant social culture. “We wanted a place where every evening feels like a celebration where good food, music, and energy come together,” he said.
The event concluded with a champagne toast overlooking the city a fitting finale to an evening that marked what many expect to become one of Westlands’ most sought-after rooftop destinations.
