Mabatini Ward MCA Wilfred Oluoch Odalo has been named the best performing Member of the County Assembly (MCA) in Kenya under the Champions Progress Ward Programme, according to a report released today by Swiss Poll International.
The report praised Odalo’s performance in his roles as an elected representative, champion of development, and Chairperson of the Nairobi County Assembly Budget Committee.
“He has been exceptional in his performance as an elected Member of the County Assembly nationally, and we therefore want to recognize his efforts in ensuring that there is proper governance both at the county and ward levels,” the report stated.
Reacting to the recognition, Odalo expressed his gratitude and pledged to continue working for the people of Mathare.
“I am delighted today to receive this award. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the people of Mathare and the organizers for this recognition. It motivates me to continue doing my best in serving the people,” Odalo said.
The MCA said the recognition would encourage him to remain committed to effective representation, development, and good governance in Mabatini Ward and Nairobi County Assembly.
