Samsung Electronics East Africa has unveiled its 2026 television line-up in Kenya, introducing its new Mini LED TV range and bringing the company’s latest display innovations to local consumers.
The new range is designed to deliver brighter pictures, richer colours, larger immersive screens and smarter AI-powered viewing experiences, giving consumers more ways to enjoy sports, movies, gaming and everyday entertainment at home. The introduction of the Mini LED TV marks Samsung’s latest step in advancing premium home entertainment.
The new Mini LED line-up combines Samsung’s Vision AI Companion with advanced picture and sound technologies to deliver a smarter, more personalised viewing experience. Features such as AI Soccer Mode, which intelligently optimises picture and sound for immersive football viewing, and Motion Xcelerator 144Hz, which keeps fast-paced sports and gaming smooth and clear, ensure consumers enjoy exceptional entertainment whether watching live sports, movies or playing games.
The launch comes as Samsung celebrates 20 consecutive years as the world’s No. 1 TV brand, a position built on continuous innovation in display technology, intelligent experiences and premium design. Over the past two decades, Samsung has consistently pushed the boundaries of television technology—from Quantum Dot displays and Neo QLED to Vision AI and Samsung Knox Security—helping redefine how people watch, play, connect and experience their TVs. Today, Samsung continues to expand AI-powered experiences across its television portfolio, making premium entertainment more intelligent and accessible across different screen sizes and product categories.
The new Samsung Mini LED TV range brings Samsung’s latest display innovation to more consumers by using microscopic Mini LEDs for more precise light control, delivering brighter images, deeper blacks and enhanced contrast. Combined with AI-powered picture enhancement, the TV intelligently analyses content in real time to optimise picture quality, ensuring every scene appears clearer, sharper and more lifelike. Available in the M80H and M70H series, the line-up makes Samsung’s latest Mini LED technology and intelligent viewing experiences accessible across multiple screen sizes.
Building on Samsung’s Vision AI platform, the Mini LED TVs also feature the new Vision AI Companion, offering a more interactive television experience by allowing consumers to ask questions and receive answers in real time. This transforms the TV from a display into an intelligent companion that helps viewers discover content and access information more easily.
For sports enthusiasts, the new AI Soccer Mode recreates the excitement of being in the stadium by intelligently recognising football content and automatically enhancing both picture and sound. Meanwhile, Motion Xcelerator 144Hz delivers exceptionally smooth motion, allowing viewers to enjoy fast-paced sports, action movies and gaming with minimal blur, ensuring even the quickest scenes remain sharp and fluid. Together, these innovations create a smarter and more immersive home entertainment experience powered by Samsung’s latest AI technology.
Speaking during the launch, Sam Odhiambo, Head of Consumer Electronics Business, Samsung Electronics East Africa, said the 2026 TV line-up reflects Samsung’s continued commitment to enriching consumers’ everyday lives through innovation.
“For 20 years, Samsung has led the global TV market by continuously innovating to meet the changing needs of consumers. Our 2026 TV line-up brings together larger screens, AI-powered intelligence and breakthrough display technologies to create more immersive and personalised viewing experiences.”
Samsung Electronics also confirmed that it will expand its premium TV portfolio in Kenya later this September with the introduction of the next-generation Micro RGB TV. The new display technology is expected to deliver exceptional colour accuracy, brightness and picture precision, further elevating premium home entertainment.
As Samsung marks two decades as the world’s No. 1 TV brand, the company remains focused on shaping the future of home entertainment through meaningful innovation. The launch of the 2026 Mini LED TV range reinforces Samsung’s commitment to delivering intelligent, immersive and premium viewing experiences, while the upcoming Micro RGB TV will further showcase the company’s leadership in display technology and television innovation.
