Spiritual leader Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj has arrived in Mombasa county for this year’s festive season, spokesperson and host Nautamlal Sanghani alias Simba Kaburu has confirmed.
His Divine and the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan arrived at Mombasa’s Moi international airport accompanied by his saints to visit the community prayer hall in Nyali constituency.
The spokesperson told the media that apart for meeting his followers and blessing them which has been his tradition he will also preside over a grounding breaking ceremony for the construction of a temple at the coastal city.
“In Nairobi he will be celebrating and marking the 25th anniversary of the temple in the capital city,” he pointed out.
The host of His Divine Holiness told the media the spiritual leader will be in Mombasa for not more than five days.
Simba said the followers in Kenya who have come to the port city to welcome their leader have been joined by others across the world.
He told the media the leader is expected to travel to India after the festive season.
On his part, Ramesh Sanghani alias Kaburu said reading the Almighty God’s message through the books is not enough and it is not an easy task.
He argued that guidance by a spiritual leader should be encouraged.
“Every day one learns a new thing from the Creator through the preaching of the gospel,” he said.
Kaburu applauded their spiritual leader for the visit saying it reminds them to shun evil things.
